Best of the Grand Strand Update: Week 1 Recap

Week 1 of the 2014 Best of the Grand Strand is in the history books.

After much anticipation, the polls for the 2014 Best of the Grand Strand opened last week. Voting kicked off Monday, December 1st and things got exciting right out of the gate. With more than a dozen new categories to vote in and hundreds of new nominees, the first few days saw a frenzy of activity. After the first week, we counted a whopping total of 1,276 nominations and more than 12,000 votes.
